June 14, Adventure Eve

It's 11:30, and visions of wrapping paper are dancing in our heads. The movers arrive at eight, but no one's sleepy except Adrienne. The biggest problems are how to get coffee in the morning and what to do with all the wine left over from the going-away festivity last night...Star

I hit the proverbial wall today. We have been packing for weeks. No matter how much you prepare in advance, moving always comes down to a hectic final day. It's interesting how a house full of belongings boils down to some furniture and about 90 boxes of varying sizes. Regardless, it's time to roll. After weeks of rushing around getting prepared for the move of a lifetime, it will be a welcomed change to sit still...Ben

  6. Have fun on your exciting adventure. We have you both tucked away inside our hearts; therefore our love travels along with you.

May you always walk in sunlight, slumber warm when night winds blow.
May you always live in laughter, for a smile becomes you so.
May good fortune find your doorway; may the bluebird sing your song.
May no trouble find travel your way; may no worry stay too long.
May you always be a dreamer; may your wildest dreams come true.
Now you've found someone to love as much as we love you.

  7. Wow! What a first day you both had! Take plenty of picture along the way and post. I'm sure that I'll enjoy this trip with you! (By the way, I couldn't spell last night as I came home late from Hampton after driving through severe weather.)

  8. Traveling down I-40 through Texas make sure you stop in and eat at THE BIG TEXAN in Amarillo. Its right on I40! Can't miss it. Unless they've changed policies, if you can eat the 64 ouncer, its free! Doubt they give away too many! Pay no attention to the 8 foot bear as you walk in, its stuffed!!! After filling your gut, make sure and stop by the cadillac ranch a few miles down the road heading west. Its on the other side of the interstate but you can see it easily! Cheers, Binky
